Can I come and see the furniture before buying?
Unfortunately, our business is completely online and we do not display our products in any showrooms or at our office address. However, we can provide you with additional details, photographs, etc to help you make a fully informed purchase decision.

What are your payment methods?
We use a very reliable payment gateway by Cashfree where you can make your payments using credit/debit cards and netbanking.

What is the refund policy?
We stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. We will do our best to make things right if you are not satisfied. While we do not have a refund policy, we do have a replacement policy if our furniture & other items have been damaged during shipping, have been misrepresented on our website description or although very unlikely, the order has been mixed up. Any damage or misrepresentation must be brought to our notice within 2 weeks of delivery along with photographic evidence. The item to be returned and replaced will have to be shipped back to our warehouse in Calcutta. Once the item is received, we will initiate a replacement.

How do you know if a piece is authentic?
We extensively examine the authenticity of every piece before listing it. This includes analysing its style, the type/grain of wood, joinery & hardware used, and its source among other things. Whenever required we consult experts to verify whether a piece is bona fide.

How can we buy a piece similar to one recently sold on your website?
You are most welcome to share with us your wish list. As and when we get a similar item we will send across the details.

Can I order/enquire about items other than the ones mentioned on the website?
Yes, we work very closely with clients who wish to place orders for furniture other than mentioned on our website. Once, we receive a list of your requirements, we get back with available options and pricing.

What should I expect when buying an authentic piece?
Buying an authentic item implies that it has been already used for several decades. Hence, there will always be signs of 'use'. The level of 'use' will differ with each piece, but the description under 'Condition' & 'Restoration' will give you an idea of what to expect. Please note that the 'Condition' category only applies to the 'Pure Vintage' section.

What is 'At the warehouse'?
This is a section where we provide buyers/collectors the opportunity to grab a piece as soon as we procure it. Often when people have been looking for a particular piece for a long time and/or are perfectly sure about what they want they prefer to book them sooner than later.

Validity of quotations/ estimates?
All our shared estimates and quotations are valid for 15 days. After the lapse of this period, we reserve the right to charge prices/taxes as applicable on the day the order is placed.

Order not delivered?
For any delivery related issues or if your order is not delivered within:
1. 10 days of order placement (for unframed items)
2. 20 days of order placement (for framed orders) and
3. 5 weeks of order placement (for handmade items)
