It is important to take good care of your art so you can cherish it for decades to come. Here are some Dos & Don'ts

A. Avoid direct sunlight, drastic changes in temperature, moisture & humidity.
B. Dust it with a clean soft rag to avoid dust buildup
C. Avoid placing sharp objects next to it.
D. Canvas art should not be framed with glass as it needs to breathe. 
E. Do not use a damp cloth to clean or dust.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE INDIA
Unframed Prints : 7 - 10 business days
Framed Prints : 14 - 21 business days
Unframed Handmade Art : 40 - 60 business days
Framed Handmade Art : 60 - 90 business days
Some countries & remote islands may have longer delivery timelines.

RETURNS
We take special care to ensure that your artwork reaches you in perfect condition. But in the rare event of any damage incurred during shipping, incorrect product delivery or size mismatch please notify us within 24 hours with photographic evidence of the issue and we will initiate a replacement. For our customers outside India, the shipping charges for returning the item will be borne by the customer. Returns or exchanges in any other case will not be possible.

DELIVERY
For any delivery related issues or if your order is not delivered within:
1. 10 days of order placement (for unframed items)
2. 20 days of order placement (for framed orders) and
3. 5 weeks of order placement (for handmade items)
Please bring to our notice at studio@calcuttan.in so that the same can be followed up with our logistics partners. 

 

For our customers outside India, Customs Duty & any other applicable tax may apply at the time of delivery depending on the laws of your country. The prices shown on our website do not cover these charges. Please refer to the customs portal of your country to know the exact charges, if any.

For our customers within India, GST will be charged at checkout as per the laws of the country. Please note that GST will also apply for customers shipping outside India but paying from an Indian bank or card account.

Quality of your print

This is a Giclée print, which is the industry standard for art exhibitors around the world. Our prints are capable of capturing an extraordinary level of detail and are printed in high grade fine art media. All prints come with a minimum 1.5" border for paper and 2" border for canvas.

Should I choose paper or canvas?

Your decision to choose paper or canvas will depend on the look and feel you prefer. If you are looking for a rough matte texture, choose Canvas or Archival paper. If you want a smooth matte finish then Matte Paper is your best bet. For a glossy matte feel of a photograph, choose Photo Paper.

Framing Options for Canvas Prints

Gallery Wrap

The canvas is stretched and wrapped around the sides of the stretcher bar and is secured to the back of the wooden frame.

Floater Frame

The canvas is wrapped and stretched similar to a gallery wrap and then mounted inside a wooden frame, leaving a small "gap", to create the illusion that the canvas is floating within the frame.

Framing Options for Paper Prints

Simple Frame

A high quality PVC frame with a front thickness of 0.5 inch and a depth of 1 inch.

Mounted Frame

A high quality PVC frame with an off-white mount. Thickness of mount ranges from 1 - 4 inches depending on size of the artwork.
