DESCRIPTION Crafted painstakingly, the Babu Armchair is a classic British Colonial design. This chair was a regular feature in old public offices & institutions like the YWCA, etc. It has a handsome cane backrest, a cane seat, distinctive arm rests, and exquisite hand turned front legs.

REPRODUCTION This piece is reproduced in teakwood and finished with black matte melamine polish. The caning weave is a '7- Step' pattern using cane from Assam. The Babu Chair I can also be customised with no arm rests to be used as dining chairs.
