DESCRIPTION A British colonial library chair with hand caned seat and back. The front legs are hand turned while the rear legs are shorter and lightly raked. A wide slightly inclined seat and an ever so slightly curved back rest makes it extremely comfortable to be in for longer periods. The armrests are extensive and ergonomically curved. Each arm has 6 elegant spindle supports. It is a good chair to read in or watch TV with your feet up on a foot stool.
DIMENSIONS 24" x 31" x 34" [W x D x H]
REPRODUCTION This piece is reproduced in teakwood and finished with matte melamine polish. The caning weave is a '7- Step' pattern in high quality cane from Assam.
